Northwest Missouri State Expands Nortland Program

Northwest Missouri State University is expanding its dual-credit program with the hiring of a new coordinator to work with area high schools.

The new position, currently being advertised, will serve Northwest’s Kansas City (NWKC) facility, which is located at the Northland Innovation Campus in Gladstone. The main focus of this new dual- credit coordinator will be managing of all of the University’s dual-credit activities, which involve area high school students, generally seniors, taking college-level courses and receiving college credit while they’re still in high school.

Northwest offers online dual-credit courses taught by adjunct faculty. The program is nationally accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships.
